The IACUC has members whose backgrounds & experience are relevant to the Committee’s responsibilities, including veterinarians, non-scientists, scientists representing schools and colleges that use animals, as well as members who are not affiliated with the University in any way other than as a member of the IACUC.

The President appoints the IACUC members on the advice of the Vice President for Research.
